The third-generation Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 is an ideal USB audio interface for podcasters who need mix-minus functionality when taking calls, as well as for multi-instrumentalists and producers. This high-performance audio interface offers a creative software bundle, customizable mic tone, and a range of features to enhance the recording and production process.
The two improved Scarlett microphone preamps feature switchable phantom power, input pads, and selectable Air circuits, which add brightness based on Focusrite's legendary ISA preamplifier. The two XLR-1/4" combo inputs can accept unbalanced instrument-level signals from guitars, basses, synthesizers, or drum machines, as well as balanced line-level signals from a mixing console or outboard preamps. The rear panel also sports four additional fixed-level 1/4" inputs to accommodate more line-level sources.
Ensuring high-quality audio capture and reproduction, the Scarlett 8i6 is equipped with 24-bit / 192 kHz converters. With four balanced 1/4" line outputs, two 1/4" stereo headphone jacks, and independent control of the headphone and speaker volume settings, this interface can simultaneously feed multiple monitoring systems and outboard effects processors.
The Scarlett 8i6 package includes a range of accessories to enhance the recording experience. The Polsen HPC-A30 Closed-Back Studio Monitor Headphones are designed for monitoring audio in studio and DJ applications. Additionally, the bundle contains a Tripod Microphone Stand with a Fixed Boom, a Clamp-On Headphone Holder for the Microphone Stand, a Pop Filter, and two pieces of XLR-XLR cables.
The Scarlett 8i6 USB Audio Interface (3rd Generation) comes with a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable, a power supply, and a 2-year warranty. The Polsen HPC-A30 Closed-Back Studio Headphones include a 1/4" adapter and a 1-year warranty.
